Business News Bristol is a new independent platform dedicated to telling the stories of the people, companies and organisations shaping Bristol’s business community.

From start-ups and scale-ups to established employers, professional services firms, property developers, retailers, hospitality operators, charities, universities, investors and civic leaders, our aim is simple: to shine a light on the organisations helping Bristol grow.

Bristol has one of the UK’s most exciting and distinctive business communities. It is creative, ambitious, independent, socially conscious and full of people doing interesting things. Yet too many of those stories go untold. Business News Bristol exists to give them a home.

We cover the stories that matter to the city’s business audience, including company growth, new appointments, investment, property, jobs, innovation, professional services, hospitality, tourism, technology, education, sustainability and the people behind the work.

Our role is to make business news accessible, useful and relevant. We are here for business owners, directors, entrepreneurs, marketers, investors, recruiters, decision-makers and anyone with an interest in Bristol’s economy.

We also want to support the wider business ecosystem by giving PR agencies, marketing teams, founders and organisations a clear route to share their news, insight and expertise.

Business News Bristol is built on a belief that good local business journalism matters. We want to help people discover opportunities, celebrate success, understand change and feel more connected to the city they work in.

Whether you are announcing a new client win, opening a venue, hiring a senior team member, raising investment, launching a product, publishing research, expanding your premises or sharing expert commentary, we want to hear from you.
